The end of summer is coming up quickly and the boys want to go camping, so we had a test run to see how they would do sleeping in a tent. We set up the tent in the backyard, got out the sleeping bags and air mattresses, and prepared for a great night.
The boys watched a movie and had fun playing in the tent before going to bed.
They slept like logs all night long. Their Dad...well, he woke up many times throughout the night to check on them, slide them back into their sleeping bags, and cover them up over and over. We had a fun night together, just the boys and their Dad.

Oh Ryan, I bet you miss Alaska at times like these! :) Backyard camping is the best...at least you don't have to worry about bears there.

Ahh, a family after our own hearts. . .we love camping in the backyard . .plumbing nearby, I can stay inside while the boys stay out . . .BLISS! Looks like so much fun! Maybe a neighborhood camp out next time huh?!

well, i didn't know "camping" included a DVD player :-) but it looks like fun no matter what. And I don't know about Go Gators but I know of this one college football team that is often ranked #1. Their mascot is a Trojan and they are from sunny california. go USC!!!!
